Existential & Psychoanalytic Supervision for therapists in Cambridge, MA and virtually throughout Massachusetts
Clinical Supervision and Consultation - $200 for 50-minute supervision or consultation session.
In addition to clinical work, I offer clinical supervision for licensed therapists and advanced trainees who are drawn to existential and psychoanalytic perspectives and who wish to think more carefully about the complexity of their clinical work. Supervision focuses on developing conceptual clarity, tolerance for uncertainty, and a more reflective relationship to one’s practice. This work is particularly well suited to clinicians who value depth over technique.
CEU Course - Philosophy for Psychotherapists
The next series for this course will run from February 3 to April 21 2026
This course is designed as a 12-week introduction to the major texts, thinkers, and movements in the Western Philosophical tradition, from Ancient Greece to the present. The intention of the course is to encourage clinicians to apply core concepts in the philosophical canon to their clinical work, while gaining a deeper appreciation of the intellectual history underpinning contemporary thought and practice. Each section will give an overview of a particular tradition or set of thinkers, covering historical context, their philosophical contributions, and clinical application of their ideas. We will do our best to condense primary sources to approachable lengths, with weekly sections primarily consisting of a lecture on that week's topic by one of the facilitators, a group discussion, and structured ways to encourage participants to practice applying relevant concepts to their own cases.
The course will be taught in collaboration with John Maier, PhD, LICSW (www.johnmaier.com). The course has been approved for 18 CEUs for LMHCs and Social Work credits. The course will be Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 PM EST via Zoom. If this feels like a offering you would be interested in, please reach out to me here.
